After Five Success Laden years with the NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Program at Hartwick College in New York, our man Jamie O’Grady has just been honoured as a United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region 1st Team Selection.

Jamie, a member of our Class of 2013, joined Hartwick College after a stellar youth career that saw him represent Stenhousemuir FC and also win caps for the Scottish Schools FA U18 National Team.

He quickly went on to establish himself as one of Hartwick’s top players and regularly picked up individual awards as his career progressed with the Hawks including being named as the Sun Belt Tournament Most Outstanding Player as the team landed their Conference Tournament back in 2015.

On a team level Jamie accumulated 30 goals and eight assists over his career at Hartwick. He is tied for twelfth in goals and is fifteenth in points in the program record books.

On the national level, O’Grady ranks sixth in game-winning goals, seventh in goals per game (0.78), and nineteenth in points per game (1.56).

Jamie also helped Texas based Midland Odessa Sockers SC to become NPSL Lone Star Conference Champions and only injury prevented him from playing in the NPSL Championship Final in the summer of 2017.

There’s no doubt that it’s been a magnificent career for Jamie and everyone here at Sporting Futures USA is extremely proud of his achievements.
